New Robot Flying V and Robot X-plorer guitar
A Robot Flying V and the Robot X-plorer have emerged from Gibson's Robot Guitar line. Gabriel J. Hernandez for Gibson writes:
Gibson’s revolutionary Robot Tuning System equips both new models, offering a standard EADGBE tuning preset, along with six additional, totally programmable tuning presets which allow players to change tunings in seconds — all at the touch of a button.
The new Robot Flying V and Robot X-plorer also feature 22-fret ebony fingerboards that sit atop solid, one-piece mahogany necks that sport the traditional neck profiles found on the original guitars — a hybrid between the standard ’50s rounded contour and the ’60s slim-taper profile. Add uncovered Gibson 496R and 500T humbucker pickups and you've got two hot, screaming rock and roll machines.
The new Robot Flying V and Robot X-plorer are available in a Red Metallic finish, and each guitar comes with a charger and power plug, battery pack and a black reptile pattern hardshell case with white plush interior and silver Gibson USA logo on the front.
